Thailand-Malaysia Joint Watercolour Exhibition 2026 (Penang Water Colour Society [PWCS] & Thai Artists) 

Terms & Conditions

1.Theme: Brushes Across the Border.  
2.Topic: Any subject. However, artworks must be suitable for public display. Content involving sensitive political issues, obscenity, violence, disrespectful to Royalty and religions is strictly prohibited.
3. Purpose: To foster artistic exchange and strengthen the bond of friendship between Malaysian and Thai watercolour artists.
4. Exhibition Period: 15 August – 13 September 2026
5. Opening Ceremony: 15 August 2026
6. Venue: Lee Gardens Gallery, Hatyai, Thailand
7. Artwork Specification: 38cm x 56cm (vertical or horizontal format)
8. Participation: Each artist may submit one (1) original painting. PWCS is limited to a maximum of 50 entries.
9. Framing: Framing will be provided and managed by the Gallery (new frames to be made if current frames not enough).
10. Participation fees: RM100 to cover for e-catologue design, framing and administration cost.
11. Kindly fill up Google Form (https://forms.gle/qyHPEoWXWGjoDxwRA) for participation, original painting (38x56cm without frame) to be submitted to Kiah Kiean at 98-2-11B Prima Tanjung, Jalan Fettes, Tanjung Tokong, Penang 11200 by 31 July 2026
12. Sales Commission: A commission of 40% will be retained by the Gallery; the artist will receive 60% of the final sale price.
13. Return of Artworks: All unsold paintings will be returned to the respective participants following the conclusion of the exhibition.
14. Liability Disclaimer: While the organisers will exercise the utmost care in handling all artworks, they shall not be held liable for any loss or damage incurred during the exhibition or in transit.
