Before we leave 2021 behind, let’s not forget the following:

1. Membership subscription for 2021 was waved. For those who had already paid, the fees will be carried forward to 2022.
2. WAA! Online Exhibition is open for members’ mini solo or small group exhibition.
3. PWCS Annual Juried Exhibition 2022 is set in March 2022, with the theme “Night Scene”, no limit in size, max 3 pieces, submission of digital file on 24 Feb 2022.

Dear Members,

Here’s something exciting happening… The WAA! Online Auction platform will now open to members to apply for Solo/ Small Group Online Exhibitions. We will still hold the Online Auctions but can put in the Solo/ Small Group exhibitions in between online auctions. This is to encourage members to engage in more new works and we provide the platform to showcase your works.

WAA! Online Solo/ Small Group Exhibition

WAA! will be used as a platform to feature Penang Water Colour Society’s members’ works in the form of solo or in small group. Kindly refer to the following Rules & Terms:

Rules & Terms

1. This online platform is opened for Penang Water Colour Society’s members to hold their exhibitions.
2. The exhibition can be in Solo or Small Group (2-5 artists).
3. Number of paintings for each exhibition shall be as follow:

	Min no paintings	Max no paintings
Solo	15	25
Group (2 -5 artists)	20	25
At least 60% of paintings must be works not exhibited at WAA! before.

4. Exhibition must have a theme.
5. The artwork must be artist own creation, done in watercolour or predominantly with watercolour.
6. Duration of exhibition is 2 weeks (including uploading time).
7. All artworks must be for sale. Artist is to make a donation of 5% to PWCS for every painting sold.
8. The sales of paintings should be done using this platform and in the transparent manner. Any abandoned sales, secret dealing, painting not according to specified details etc are considered disruption to the exhibition, and may result in the expulsion of artist and collector from the group.
9. Collection of money and delivery of painting to the collector is solely the responsibility of the artist. PWCS and the Admin are not responsible for any lost, damage to the painting and non-payment from the collector.
10. Members who are interested must apply to PWCS Committee using the Google Form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScAS3fusDS_TyGTN1LZEvky3PKTGgDravKdSEL_qk6THEVzbQ/viewform?usp=sf_link . The Committee has the right not to approve any proposal deem not suitable.
11. PWCS and Admin will try their best to maintain this platform and find the best way to run the exhibition. Rules may be revised from time to time to a better performance.
12. Artist participating in this online exhibition is deemed agreed to the Rules & Terms.
